With one of the motorized window treatment options we offer, you will never have to deal with sticky chains, tangled cords, or broken pull wands again. Each of our options allows you to operate your power blinds independently or as a group. You can even schedule automatic window treatments to open at specific times of the day or use sensors so they open and close based on the path of the sun. Somfy® Automation
This motorization system is often considered the gold standard for automatic window treatments. This system works with several different window treatment products and is available for our ALTA, Comfortex, and Fenetex brand window coverings. Somfy® prides itself on its quiet Sonesse® motors, which are designed to provide smooth operation without disturbing the occupants of a room. Somfy® automatic window treatments are also available with sensors that can open and close your windows based on temperature, sunlight levels, and weather. With the TaHoma® gateway and application, you can also control your power blinds from your smartphone. The system also integrates with existing home motorization systems like Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, and Google Home to allow you voice control over your automatic window treatments.
PowerView® Automation
This automatic window treatment system is exclusive to Hunter Douglas products. What makes this particular motorization option so great is you can pair it with any of their window treatments, including sheers, shadings, cellular shades, roller shades, roman shades, woven wood shades, screen shades, banded shades, blinds, drapery, and even shutters. The system is controlled by the PowerView® Hub, which connects to your home’s Wi-Fi network. Once PowerView® Motorization is set up, you have the option to control the automatic window treatments from a wall-mounted Scene Controller or Surface Remote, handheld Pebble® Remote, or the PowerView® App. You can also integrate PowerView® Motorization with your smartphone system, allowing you to control your window treatments with the sound of your voice.
Simplicity Motorization
This automatic window treatment system is an economical option available on ALTA and Comfortex products, as well as Hunter Douglas skylight window treatments. Simplicity uses radio frequency and a simple remote to open and close your powered blinds. You can also choose the Simplicity PowerTouch™ system, which consists of a battery-powered wand with button controls attached to each shade. You can also use the NEO smart app to operate your motorized blinds from anywhere in the world. Simplicity Motorization runs entirely on rechargeable batteries that offer steady power. A “favorites” position can also be set into each motor, automatically allowing you to open or close your powered blinds to a specified height.
BLISS™ Automation
This system is exclusive to ALTA window treatments and is designed to be easy to set up and control. Using the wifi-connected BLISS™ bridge and two-way radio communication, it is a snap to open and close your motorized blinds. You can control the motorization system from a BLISS™ remote or smartphone app. The system also runs entirely on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that can last up to 500 cycles on a single charge. When it is time to recharge your batteries, you can use the BLISS™ magnetic charging kit, which easily clicks into place, or you can add a low-profile solar panel and let the sun do the work for you.
